Mega Man X (V1.1) ROM Download is the updated version of the 16-bit classic action platformer from Capcom. In the game you play as X, a more advanced robot who fights dangerous Mavericks in a futuristic world. Compared to the original Mega Man series, Mega Man X introduces new abilities such as wall jumping, dashing, armour upgrades, and charged shots, allowing players more freedom to explore levels and approach enemies. X can also take down bosses for their own special weapons that can be used to attack other Mavericks. V1.1 refers to a revision of the ROM, usually associated with the SNES release. It has the fast-paced platforming, difficult boss fights, hidden upgrades and exploration that made Mega Man X one of the most beloved games on the SNES.

In the future, humans and advanced robots called Reploids share the earth. But some Reploids are dangerous and are called Mavericks. X, a powerful Reploid created by Dr. Light, joins the Maverick Hunters to put a stop to the growing menace. X must journey thru hostile environments and defeat eight Maverick commanders who are rebelling under the leadership of a powerful Maverick known as Sigma. As X prepares for his ultimate showdown with Sigma, he finds secret upgrades along the way that make him more and more powerful.
