An evil Death Adder has invaded the kingdom and kidnaped the King and the Princess. Three warriors, Axe Battler, Tyris Flare and Gilius Thunderhead, journeyed out to defeat Death Adder and bring peace back to the land. Each warrior has different abilities that will give players different ways to take on the adventure.

Gameplay

Golden Axe is a side-scrolling beat 'em up hack and slash. Players use melee attacks, jumps and powerful magic to fight waves of enemies. Players can collect magic power throughout the stages and unleash devastating spells. Some enemies can be defeated and their creatures used as mounts, adding yet another layer to the combat. The game is a two-player co-op game, which makes it especially fun to play with a buddy.
