Kirby Super Star Ultra is a side-scrolling action platformer developed by HAL Laboratory and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS. Released in 2008, it is an enhanced remake of the classic Kirby Super Star from the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The game expands the original with updated graphics, animated cutscenes, new game modes, additional bosses, and improved gameplay, making it one of the finest Kirby titles ever created. Story

Kirby Super Star Ultra tells several different stories instead of one continuous adventure. Other adventures send Kirby on exciting missions, including stopping the giant bird Dyna Blade, exploring a mysterious underground world in The Great Cave Offensive, chasing the legendary comet Nova in Milky Way Wishes, and battling the powerful crew of Meta Knight aboard the Halberd airship. The Nintendo DS version also adds new stories such as Revenge of the King, where King Dedede returns stronger than ever, and Meta Knightmare Ultra, allowing players to experience the adventure from Meta Knight's perspective.

Gameplay

Kirby Super Star Ultra combines classic 2D platforming with fast-paced action and creative Copy Abilities.
