ROMGalaga: Destination Earth is a fast paced shoot 'em up arcade game based on Namco's classic Galaga series. The game is developed by Namco Hometek and takes the familiar alien shooting gameplay into a more modern 3D environment. Players control a spaceship to fight off waves of alien enemies while moving through different environments. The game combines classic shooting mechanics with 3D movement, power-ups, tricky enemy formations and large boss fights.
Story
The story takes place as mankind is under another invasion by the Galaga forces. Alien invaders are attacking Earth and the player is in control of a powerful spacecraft to combat the invasion.
The player progresses through different areas battling increasingly dangerous alien formations. As you progress through the stages there are new enemies and challenges to face, eventually culminating in boss fights against powerful opponents.
The goal is simple – Survive the invasion, destroy the Galaga forces and save the Earth from the alien threat.
