Scrooge McDuck is off on a worldwide treasure hunt to find legendary riches and become even richer. His adventure leads to five dangerous places on the planet, where he has to deal with enemies and environmental dangers, while searching for precious treasures. And after travelling through the different places and looting the treasures, he finally meets the last trials before his final fortune. DuckTales is a 2D side-scrolling platformer that focuses on exploration, platforming, combat and collecting treasure. Scrooge's most valuable skill is his pogo jump which allows him to bounce on enemies and some objects instead of just jumping over them. This ability is also helpful when dealing with treacherous terrain and higher platforms. Players also have Scrooge’s cane as a weapon to attack enemies and interact with objects.
