Dragon Quest I & II ROM Download combines the first two legendary games in the Dragon Quest series for portable Game Boy Colour. Two classic turn-based RPG adventures for players to enjoy with exploration, monster battles, towns, dungeons, equipment upgrades and memorable fantasy worlds. Dragon Quest I players control a legendary hero who must save Princess Gwaelin and defeat the Dragonlord. Dragon Quest II expands on that adventure with multiple heroes, a larger world, party-based combat and a new threat to the kingdoms of the world. The Game Boy Colour editions include refined graphics, simplified gameplay, and a portable format, but retain the classic RPG mechanics of the original adventures.

Story

Dragon Quest I (Dragon Warrior) The evil Dragonlord has snatched the legendary Ball of Light and imprisoned Princess Gwaelin, and now the kingdom of Alefgard is in peril. The legendary Hero embarks on a quest to save the princess, retrieve powerful artefacts, and defeat the Dragonlord. Dragon Quest 2 Years after the events of the first game, a new evil is threatening the world. The legendary Hero’s descendants must unite and journey through many kingdoms to defeat the mighty Hargon and his army. Eventually the heroes face increasingly dangerous enemies and learn the full scale of the threat to the world.
