Pokémon SoulSilver Version is a role-playing game developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo for Nintendo DS. It was released in 2010 as a faithful remake of the classic Pokémon Silver Version on the Game Boy Colour, with updated graphics, improved gameplay mechanics, touchscreen support, and tonnes of new features. It is considered one of the best Pokémon remakes ever made together with Pokémon HeartGold Version. Players begin their adventure in the beloved Johto region as a young Pokémon Trainer who aspires to become the Pokémon League Champion. Receive your first Pokémon from Professor Elm, travel across Johto, challenge eight Gym Leaders, battle the criminal organisation Team Rocket and meet the Legendary Pokémon Lugia, the mascot of SoulSilver. Your lead Pokémon will follow your character everywhere and it is one of the most beloved features of the game . It brings your favourite partner to life as you traverse towns , forests , caves , and mountains . Players can also use the included Pokéwalker accessory (original retail release) to train Pokémon and collect items while walking in the real world. After defeating Johto, the story continues in the Kanto region, so players get to experience two entire regions in one game. Combined with over 490 Pokémon, online trading and battling (originally via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection), the Battle Frontier, and countless side activities, Pokémon SoulSilver offers one of the most content-rich experiences in the entire Pokémon series.

Pokemon: SoulSilver Version Story

Your journey begins in New Bark Town where Professor Elm gives you your first Pokémon. Once you become the Champion the adventure continues in the neighbouring Kanto region. There you can challenge eight more Gym Leaders and battle powerful Trainers until you finally face the legendary Trainer Red on top of Mt. Silver.
