Billy Lee's girlfriend Marian is kidnaped by the Black Warriors gang. Billy goes to rescue her, fighting his way through enemy-infested streets, industrial areas and other hazardous sites. Along the way to the final showdown players will encounter many gang members and powerful bosses.

Gameplay

Double Dragon is a side-scrolling beat 'em up centred on close-range combat. Characters can beat enemies with punches, kicks, elbows, throws and jumping attacks. Bats, whips, knives and other items can also be picked up and used against opponents. The arcade version supports two player co-op action, so teamwork is a big part of the experience.
