The story focuses on the legendary weapons, Soul Edge and Soulcalibur. Warriors from many walks of life hunt for these powerful swords for their own purposes, leading to conflicts between warriors such as Mitsurugi, Sophitia, Nightmare, Ivy, Taki and Cervantes.

Gameplay

Soulcalibur is a fast-paced 3D fighting game. It features an eight-way movement system, allowing characters to circle around their opponents and attacks. Each fighter has a unique weapon, and different attacks, combos, throws and defensive techniques.
