You are Vyse, a young sky pirate dreaming of seeing the world outside the known skies. Together with his friends Aika and Fina, Vyse gets wrapped up in a much larger conflict that threatens the world of Arcadia. Vyse's crew journey across floating islands, mysterious ruins, dangerous dungeons, and vast skies in search of discoveries and to battle powerful enemies.

Skies of Arcadia has traditional turn-based JRPG combat mixed with airship exploration. Players traverse towns and dungeons, collecting items, solving puzzles, and battling enemies in random encounters. One of the best things about the game is the exploration via airship. You can fly through the open skies, discover new places, run into other ships, and eventually fight in large ship battles. Combat gives you the ability to select commands for your party members, control weapons and magic, exploit enemy weaknesses and unleash powerful special attacks.
