Monster High: Ghoul Spirit is a life simulation-adventure video game developed by THQ Studio Australia and published by THQ for the Nintendo DS. It was released in 2011, based on Mattel’s popular Monster High franchise. It allows players to create their own monster character and live the life of a student at the famous Monster High school with beloved characters from the series.
Before players go to their first day at Monster High, they get to customise their monster with different hair styles, outfits, facial features and accessories. Go on your adventure, have classes, participate in school activities, play fun mini-games, make friends with classmates and unlock new clothing and customisation options.

Story
Your adventure begins when a brand-new monster student enrolls at Monster High, the world's most famous school for the children of legendary monsters. You're the new kid, meeting other students from all sorts of monster families as you settle into the thrills of school life.
During the school year you will attend classes, take part in extracurricular activities, solve everyday school problems and make friends with iconic Monster High students. Every successful activity increases your popularity and unlocks new opportunities around campus.
As you become more involved in school life, you'll earn recognition, collect stylish outfits, and prove that you truly belong at Monster High.
Gameplay
Monster High: Ghoul Spirit is a combination of life simulation, exploration and mini-games in an easy-to-play adventure. Students walk around Monster High, talk to other students, complete quests, attend classes and participate in school events.
A big part of the experience is the customisation of your character. Players can unlock new hairstyles, clothes, shoes and accessories by completing objectives and increasing their reputation. There are a bunch of mini-games that challenge your timing, memory and coordination and reward you with new cosmetic items.
The game promotes exploration, social interaction, and completing daily activities which makes for a relaxing gameplay experience ideal for casual players.
