Story
The story begins during the Millennial Fair, where Crono meets a girl named Marle. A demonstration of Lucca's teleportation machine unexpectedly opens a mysterious time portal, sending Marle into the distant past. Determined to rescue her, Crono enters the portal and begins an incredible journey across millions of years of history.
As the adventure unfolds, Crono and his companions travel between prehistoric times, the Middle Ages, a ruined future, and advanced civilizations, discovering that a powerful extraterrestrial creature known as Lavos will one day destroy the world. To prevent humanity's destruction, the heroes gather allies from different eras, uncover ancient secrets, and challenge fate itself. Gameplay
Chrono Trigger combines exploration, puzzle-solving, and strategic turn-based combat using the Active Time Battle (ATB) system.
