Gran Turismo 2 has no story. Instead, it’s all about developing your career as a professional racecar driver. Players begin with limited resources and progress through more and more difficult races. You earn credits for success in events to buy better cars, upgrade existing cars and play in more challenging championships.

Gameplay

Gran Turismo 2 provides a deep racing experience with hundreds of licensed cars from manufacturers all over the world. Handling, acceleration, braking and performance characteristics vary from car to car. There are two main experiences in the game, Arcade Mode which is all about quick races and Simulation Mode where players build a racing career, buy cars, earn money and modify their cars. Vehicle upgrades include engine, suspension, brakes, tires, gearbox and other performance components.
